The aim of this data privacy statement is to inform users of the website www.progrit.com about the nature, extent and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator "ProGrit GmbH" in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Use of social media
Our websites do not currently use social media plugins.
Use of YouTube videos
Our websites use the YouTube embedding function to display and playback videos from the provider "YouTube", which belongs to Google.
If visitors to the site are logged into Google, their data is assigned directly to their account when they click on the video. If a visitor to the site does not wish to have this link to his or her YouTube profile, he or she needs to log out before activating the button.
Google saves the data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and analyzes them. In accordance with art. 6, para. 1, letter f GDPR, this analysis is based on the justified interests of Google in the embedding of personalized advertising, market research and/or demand-driven website design. Visitors to the site have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but they will need to contact YouTube to exert this right.
Our occasional newsletter is sent through Outlook, not using any external providers. Every newsletter features an unsubscribe option. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses, contact information) is not affected by unsubscription from the newsletter.
If users register under "myProGrit", the relevant information is saved in the hoster’s database. It is recommended that an individual password is used for a myProGrit account, as the information entered, including the password, can be viewed by the management of ProGrit GmbH.
Only the management of ProGrit GmbH has access to information stored in a myProGrit account. The users themselves are responsible for the secure use of their myProGrit accounts. Improper handling of their access data is not the responsibility of ProGrit GmbH.
Users must contact ProGrit GmbH in order to delete a myProGrit account. It cannot be deleted by the user.
We are happy to share the personal data we have saved about you. The information is free of charge and enquiries are handled immediately, normally by e-mail (or by post if preferred). In order to provide more detailed information, please specify, where possible, which kind of personal data information is required about. We also need evidence of the person’s identity in order to ensure that the person enquiring is also the one about whom information is provided. This can be a copy of an official identity document. Please black out serial numbers, passport numbers, etc. or make them illegible. We use this copy exclusively for identification and processing your enquiry.
